For the Ribs:
- 4–5 lbs pork baby back ribs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- ½ cup honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Make the Sauce: In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
- Slow Cook: Place the ribs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Broil for Extra Flavor (Optional): Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with extra sauce, and broil for 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve & Enjoy: Slice the ribs and drizzle with remaining sauce. Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Want a thicker sauce? Simmer it in a saucepan for a few minutes after removing the ribs.
- Spice it up! Add more red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce for heat.
- Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
