For the Fries & Poutine Base:
- 1 lb frozen or fresh French fries
- 1 cup cheese curds
- 1 ½ cups beef gravy
For the Bacon Cheeseburger Topping:
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 strips crispy bacon, crumbled
For the Maple Glaze:
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Fries:
- Bake or fry the French fries until golden and crispy. Set aside.
2️⃣ Make the Cheeseburger Topping:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
3️⃣ Prepare the Maple Glaze:
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat, then add maple syrup and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
4️⃣ Assemble the Poutine:
- Place crispy fries on a serving plate.
- Top with cheese curds, ground beef, and crumbled bacon.
- Pour hot beef gravy over the top.
- Drizzle with the maple glaze.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
