  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Heat the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until warm and pliable.
  • To assemble the tacos, spoon a generous amount of the mac and cheese onto each tortilla, followed by a scoop of the taco meat.
  • Add desired toppings such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, or salsa.
  • Fold the tortillas in half to form a taco shape and serve immediately.

  • Enjoy your melty mac & cheese burger tacos!

Notes

  • For best results, use an 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio ground beef for juicier tacos.
  • Make your own taco seasoning by combining chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Warm your tortillas properly to prevent cracking when folded.
  • Try mixing different cheese types for more complex flavor – sharp cheddar with monterey jack is delicious!

  • Prep components ahead of time for an easy assembly dinner on busy weeknights.
