Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and no longer pink inside.
- Add broccoli to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until vibrant and slightly tender.
- Lower the heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, and mix until evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a mixture of milk and cream cheese.
- Add a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce for an extra layer of flavor.
