Instructions

  • Cook the Chicken:
    • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside to rest.
  • Boil the Pasta:
    • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente, following the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
  • Make the Alfredo Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    • Gradually add Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine Everything:
    • Slice the cooked chicken into strips.
    • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
    • Top with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
    • Serve immediately while hot and creamy. Pair with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
