- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 teaspoon salt (for pasta water)

- Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
- Cook the Chicken:
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside to rest.
- Boil the Pasta:
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine until al dente, following the package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese, whisking until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine Everything:
- Slice the cooked chicken into strips.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
- Top with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Serve immediately while hot and creamy. Pair with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture.
- Heavy cream is recommended for richness, but you can substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
