- 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
Instructions
- Brown the Butter: Melt butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until golden brown and nutty in aroma. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Mix Sugars & Butter: In a large bowl, whisk brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: Mix until evenly distributed.
- Chill Dough: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for better texture.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden.
- Cool & Enjoy: Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
